The safest sharing choice

  • Share a specific window, not your whole screen. In Zoom: Share Screen → select the app window (or Advanced → Portion of Screen to frame just an area). In Teams: Share → Window. This avoids exposing other apps.

  1. Hide desktop items instantly: System Settings → Desktop & Dock → Desktop & Stage Manager → Show Items: Off (On Desktop).
  2. Silence notifications: open Control Center → Focus → Do Not Disturb. (You can schedule a “Presenting” Focus later.)
